Tiger Woods' mother-in-law was released from the hospital Tuesday afternoon after being rushed to the emergency room in the middle of the night with stomach pains.
Barbro Holmberg, mother of Woods' wife Elin Nordegren, was taken by ambulance to Health Central Hospital after someone called 911 about 2:35 a.m., hospital spokesman Dan Yates told the AP. She was released at about 1:30 p.m. and returned to Woods' home, Yates said. He said he could not be more specific about her ailment because of privacy laws.
